Inside, you will be surprised to see a boat-shaped bed! Plus, it has an ensuite bathroom. Spending a night here might cost you around one to two million Rupiah. It depends on the day and which tent you choose.

You don't have to be a resort guest to enjoy Glamping Lakeside Rancabali. All you need is to pay the entrance fee at the gate and pay tickets for every attraction you want to enter. As soon as you pass the ticket booth, you will drive through the road of the Rancabali tea plantation, where the air is fresh and a bit cold. So, you won't need to turn on your car AC here :)

At the end of the road, you will reach the shore of Situ Patenggang Bandung, where Pinisi Resto, a big wooden ship, landed on top of a hill surrounded by tea shrubs. To enter Pinisi Resto, you'll walk on a wooden and rope bridge to complete the 'sailing' experience. You'll also see white tents on the bank of Situ Patengan, which are glamping tents.

The restaurant at Glamping Lakeside Bandung serves Sundanese food and traditional snacks, such as fried bananas. In terms of taste, the food served in Pinisi Resto is mediocre. Since the weather is always cold, the restaurant doesn't have cold drinks or ice on their menu, not even ice cubes. If you want a hotdog, you can purchase one from the food trucks parked near the wooden bridge.

On the other hand, while the food may not be to everyone's liking, the view from the deck is absolutely breathtaking, providing endless photo opportunities. If you are lucky, you may be able to secure a table on the deck that affords an unobstructed view of Situ Patenggang. The only downside of these tables is you will be drenched if it suddenly rains :)

Glamping Lakeside Bandung offers more than just the glamping experience and the Pinisi Resto. There are plenty of other areas to explore on the premises. One such place is located beneath the Pinisi Resto - walking down the stairs will take you to the lakeshore, where you will find the Batu Cinta (Love Stone in English). Batu Cinta is a famous landmark in Situ Patenggang Bandung and represents a romantic legend. The legend tells the story of Ki Santang and Dewi Rengganis, a couple who were separated and finally reunited in that very spot. You can read the legend of the Batu Cinta here.

When I first saw Batu Cinta, I was disappointed because it was just a stone wall with a short description of the legend written on it. Then I was guessing whether the huge mossy stone beside it was the real Batu Cinta. Nevertheless, you can hire a boat and cross the lake from here either to circle the lake or to reach the original entrance of Situ Patenggang Bandung.

Another extraordinary place to hang out at Glamping Lakeside Rancabali is the floating tents. These tents are supported by many empty plastic barrels to float on the water, making for a fun and unusual experience. These floating tents are safe because the lake is calm, and the waves are almost non-existent. But of course, you still have to be careful and watch your children. No fence bordering the edges here, so make sure you don't tumble into the lake!

In the middle of the floating tents, you will find a small coffee stand that provides a perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee while taking in the beautiful views of Situ Patenggang Bandung and watching small boats passing by. Don't forget to bring your camera and capture the memories!

The Rancabali tea plantation has two more exciting tourist spots for you to explore: the Rengganis crater and the Rengganis suspension bridge. The Rengganis crater features pools filled with hot springs, which you can soak in. The Rengganis suspension bridge is a 370-meter bridge that stands at a height of 75 meters, connecting the parking lot and the Rengganis crater.

Glamping Lakeside Rancabali is located on the other side of Situ Patenggang Bandung. Hence, these two tourist magnets share the same shores and views of Situ Patengan but with different entrances. The resort's coordinates are 7°10'01.0"S 107°21'14.4"E.

The entrance to this resort is between Kawah Putih (White Crater) and Situ Patenggang (Situ Patengan). You can easily spot it because it has a massive billboard on the right side of the road. Once you turn right, you will see a row of entrance ticket booths leading you to the stunning Rancabali tea plantation.
